Barren Heights’ Volunteer Service Award
Barren Heights would like to recognize one volunteer who serves with the hands and heart of Jesus. Each fall we will select an adult who exemplifies special service to our King.
Please nominate a volunteer (male or female) who like the Daniel of the Bible, serves the ministry in Faith, Prayer, Courage, and Consistency.
Recommendations
- May come from any guest or volunteer.
- Should be received by Monday, October 23, 2017.
Decision will be based on the impact the volunteer has had on the ministry of Barren Heights. That will include the number of hours spent in the ministry, the impact of those hours and the attitude of service.
For example, Danny Raisor, our first recipient spent many hours promoting construction projects and raising the necessary support to make them happen. He offered to be the construction manager for the New Barn project, fielding multiple questions, organizing volunteers and finalizing its construction. In addition to this project he has faithfully served as a weekend host the last three years.
Final decision for the award will be made from all nominations by the Barren Heights Board of Directors, Executive Director, and all previous year winners prior to the fall fundraiser.
A special committee may be selected if the Board feels there may be personal conflicts of interest.
